We offer Flasks, Community Pots and Seedling as well as blooming size plants:

Flasks: These are seedlings that have been replated from mother flask and allowed to grow quite a bit larger than is the general practice. This improves the survival rate for us and hopefully for you. If shipped in flask, there is less likelihood of the plants becoming "scrambled". The plants are at least 3 years from blooming.

Community Pots (compots): These are seedlings after they have been taken out of flask and spent some time in the greenhouse. They are hardened off and have produced at least one new leaf. The plants average 3" or more measured from leaf tip to leaf tip across the center of the plant. They are at least 2 years from blooming depending on your culture. In our conditions, we often get a few flowers in the compots.

Seedlings: These are seedlings which have been moved from compots to 4 11/16" pots and have been in the greenhouse for a couple of years and should bloom in the next year or two, depending on your culture. They are unbloomed and you are the first to see what they look like.

Hot Deals: Otherwise known as "Specials". From time to time we offer "Package Deals"; groupings of seedlings; "Selected Plants", seedlings we've bloomed a second or third time - ones we've selected out as better than average and decided to let go (just can't keep them all!). Here you will also find crosses in quantities too small to list. We will note how many are available and it's first come, first served.
